Are
you good enough to get into heaven? |
The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver
tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O
LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
Psalms 12:6-7
When you examine the different English versions of the Bible you do see that
some passages can vary from one version to the next. This
section deals with the issue of different Bible versions and examines
whether or not we should be concerned with the differences.
God proclaimed in His word many
times, that His word would be preserved. Jesus said in Matthew 5:17;
"For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one
tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." In
other words, to put it in our modern vernacular, "not one dotting of a "i"
or the crossing of a "t" will be lost."
