The purpose for
the show is to bring together individuals that have
different religious viewpoints and have a lively debate and
discussion over those differences. The title of the show is
based on Acts 17 in the Bible. In it, the apostle Paul is
invited to come up to Areopagus (Mars Hill) in Athens.
There he is given an opportunity to expound upon his belief
in Jesus Christ as the Maker of Heaven and Earth and the
Savior of all mankind to those that believe. The Athenians
also gave their view of what Paul was saying. There were
three types of responses from the crowd that listened; some
mocked, some wanted to hear more, and some believed. Out of
this discussion I’m sure that we will have all three
responses from those that listen.
