God’s Proof
...The fool has said
in his heart there is no God... (Ps

the beginning of time, man has been without excuse for denying the God of the
Universe. The Bible makes the audacious claim that God has revealed
Himself to all mankind from the beginning of creation; so much so, that no one
will have an “excuse” for denying Him.
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: (Romans 1:18-20).
God has provided an immeasurable amount of evidence that cannot be ignored. Try as you might, there is too much to discount.
My name is Jeff Sievertson and I would like to invite you to take a journey that I undertook several years ago that changed my life.
I had difficulty with the so called "mythology" that I saw in the Bible. I grew up attending church, however, I never really fully accepted all that I was taught. My logical mind could not blindly accept the "dogma" that was being feed to me on a weekly basis. I loved mathematics, science, logic and deductive reasoning; and because of that, I had trouble accepting the tenets of the Bible.
If such events took place in the
Bible, then where was the evidence? For every action there is an opposite
yet equal reaction. If an action had taken place (Noah's flood,
Joshua's long day, destruction of
My mind was also plagued with the question: "If there are so many religions in the world, how would I know which one was right?" Are they all correct, or is there just one way? And if there was only one way, then how would I know; how could I be sure? Did God provide a way for us to discern correctly or did He just leave us blind and in the dark? Did He provide His signature; His stamp of approval?
This and many other questions weighed heavily upon my mind and my heart for a number of years; however, I never searched out the answers because I thought they would not be there. And if they were not there, then why waste my time? I had more to do than to drudge through the muck of religion and mythology to come out the other end with nothing to show for it. Such questions were a waste of my time and intruded upon me enjoying life.
I now know that it was not a waste of time. It was worth the effort to search out such an important question as this. It will take time; however, please begin this quest; your eternal destiny hangs in the balance.
I can say with confidence that there is more than enough evidence available to convict you that the God of the Bible is the true God of the universe. You can believe it from cover to cover. You don’t have to “check” your mind at the door when you pick up His Word. As He put it “Come now, and let us reason together..." (Isaiah 1:18). But again, don't take my word for it. Search it out for yourselves.
The evidence I found didn't bring me to the saving grace of Jesus Christ. It was the conviction of my sins (sin: breaking His perfect Law) by the Holy Spirit that made me realize that I could not save myself. It was only through the shed blood of Jesus Christ that I could be redeemed. The evidence did however; remove the stumbling blocks that kept me from drawing near to Him.
Please understand that the information contained within www.godsproof.com will always be in dispute with others that have opposing views. But God has given you a rational mind to “reason” these things out for yourselves. This information is presented for you to see that God has backed up everything, and I do mean everything, that He has claimed in His word with “many infallible proofs” (Acts 1:3).
Evidences that are covered in www.godsproof.com are: Science,
Prophecy, Martyrdom, Archeology, Textual, Testimony, History, and Misc. Over time I will continue to add additional
resources for you to search out.
I pray that your journey will
be fruitful and bring you to the Way, and the Truth, and the Life; because
there is but only one Way (John 14:6). Then maybe you too
can say as Thomas did when he saw the evidence; "... My Lord and my
God" (John
The following is just a sampling
of the “many infallible proofs” of God.
The Bible, which contains 66 books penned by 40 authors over several thousand years, is a highly integrated message system. Scholars have now discovered that virtually every detail of the Biblical text evidences a highly skillful integrated design from the first letter in Genesis to the last in Revelation.
In fact, every name, detail, word, letter, and punctuation was deliberately set in place revealing a sophisticated design that defies all possibilities. From hidden codes, to extraordinary mathematical structures that has and will continue to astonish the greatest of minds.
As Chuck Missler puts it: "What is even more astounding is that it can be demonstrated that the origin of this intricate design is from outside of our dimension of space and time."1
Within the Biblical text (original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek), you will find an order and structure that clearly indicates a designer from the beginning to the end.
The
central message throughout the Bible is Christ and Him crucified. Every detail,
story, analogy and verse is centered around Christ in some way (see Heb 10:7;
Luke 24:27; John
Names like
Adam, Methuselah and the rest are transliterated. Meaning they were
written as they sounded. They were not translated into what they meant.
For example, Adam means man. His son, Seth, means appointed. You can see
this in Genesis
The meanings of their names are best discovered by studying the original Hebrew roots that make up their names. Most lexicons can prove superficial when dealing with proper names.
If we examine the names from Adam to Noah we make an interesting discovery.

Hidden within the genealogy of Genesis 5 is a summary of God’s plan of redemption. “Who begat who” doesn’t seem so “boring” any more does it?
Before the
foundations of the world were established, God had a plan to bring you into a
fellowship with Him that would last for eternity (John 17:3). The death
of Christ on the cross was not a backup plan, it was His only plan. Out
of all the names in the world, there is only one name given under heaven
through which we may receive salvation, and that one is Jesus Christ (Acts

the Ark of the Covenant with Christ’s blood sprinkled upon the Mercy Seat. The Old Testament sacrificial system, with
the sprinkling of the lamb’s blood on the Mercy Seat, was pointing to the Lamb
of God, “which taketh away the sin of the world (John 1:29)” who would pour
out His own blood upon that same Mercy Seat.
